The year began with the creation of two works which could be considered
a commentary on the theme of a local exhibition entitled 'Justice for All'.
The image on the left recalls the case of Steven Truscott, recently recognized
as innocent of the crime he was accused of many years ago, and for which he was sentenced to die at the age of 14 - spared
when Canada abolished the death penalty shortly thereafter.
On the right is the observance of the seemingly random nature of fate, comparing
the plight of Ann Frank with my own relatively idyllic childhood.
