Most people perhaps think of artists having very busy hands. Even more than that, the eyes and the mind are always
active. It is often the ‘everyday’ which inspires. Recently, having become attuned to the grids and structures
and patinas of the city, I find that often behind the most visible neat and tidy facades lurk intriguing plays of light and
shadow and design. This series done in experimental mixed media is a reflection of that appreciation.
