...A pink ribbon sways softly in the moonlit
sky, somewhere between sunset and
dawn, and a gentle breeze stirs music in the rustling leaves enclosing two figures. There is an air of mystery here, and
the tiny details of the dream are illuminated bystarlight. An island of contented enchantment, like no other,
exists in this place...

ARTIST'S NOTE: This image represents
so many things for me....it is, in a way, a 'swan song' - the culmination of many weeks of intense concentration andworking
in very intricate detail. It will be the last of my work done in this manner at this size. It has also evolved
into something which has a very deep and special meaning for me, in so many inexpressable ways. It will remain in my
personal collection as a constant reminder of the thoughts and dreams and fantasies and the beautiful secrets and mysteries
we carry within. Those things which sustain and elevate us to a special plateau of serenity ....and an intense appreciation
of life's incredible magic. It is my own heartsung 'Ode to Joy'.
